Lessons from my first exit

This is a writeup from the founder of TinyPilot, a small pibased computer that allows you to remote access your server as if you were standing in front of it. That even means if the server is rebooting you can watch it reboot or make decisions even while it is off. From this write up I can tell just how different we are as people.

He is extremely studious, anxious and process driven. He writes down everything he does and seperates everything into small compartments. A great example is while he started this business he began by making email accounts and keeping all the business related accounts signed up to these emails. He also ran a seperate bitwarden account with all the logins for business. this foresight made exchanging the business over in the sale much easier. Despite our differences I really enjoyed this write up. Especially the more bureaucratic side of things, like what agent he used and why. If anything this is a huge motivator watching other peoples businesses succeed is awesome to watch. This also felt like a very realistic business. He did not make millions overnight. He stated that this is one of his most successful businesses and it was making about 250k a year which is very respectable but is not unrealistic or a outlier case such as other successful startups.
